WHAT:  Jal High School All School Reunion – Classes 1936-2005

WHERE:  Jal, New Mexico

WHEN:  September 2,3,4, 2005 – Labor Day Weekend

This letter is to let you know we are planning another all school reunion on Labor Day Weekend 2005, September 2,3,4, in Jal, and I will be your class representative.  If you were at the 2000 Reunion, you know how much fun it was, and if you weren’t, you missed a great time and you need to be sure to attend this next one.   The registration fee is $35 per person, $70 per couple.  Registration fee includes BBQ lunch, concert, 2 street dances, student directory, and continental breakfast.

Tentative schedule -  Friday: Registration; Concert by the Montgomery Sisters; Street dance.  Saturday: Registration, Welcoming assembly; BBQ at lunch; Class pictures taken; Parade; Football game - Jal vs. Hobbs JV; Two street dances.  Sunday a.m. – continental breakfast.  There won’t be an organized golf tournament – if you want to play you can contact Jal Country Club.  More detailed information, including a registration sheet, will follow at a later date.

The following are some important addresses and email addresses where you can find out about people from Jal, City of Jal, and the 2005 Reunion.  The City of Jal website has current general information about Jal; the Reunion website has a lot of various information about people from Jal, articles or stories written by Jal people and a place to post messages.  If you relocate between now and the reunion date would you please inform me of your change of address. If you happen to have any information or addresses about Jal teachers please contact Helen Shelton. 

BE SURE AND MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR SEPTEMBER 2,3,4, 2005 FOR A STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE.  THERE WILL BE A FOLLOWING LETTER WITH A REGISTRATION FORM ON IT.
